Pakistani players will train with the Army before the T20 World Cup 2024, the reason is surprising

Before the 2024 T20 World Cup, Pakistani cricket players will receive training from their nation's armed forces. From March 25 to April 8, all Pakistani players will participate in an Army training camp. The Pakistan Cricket Board provided an extremely startling explanation. About a week following the conclusion of the PSL, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced during a press conference in Islamabad that the Pakistani team would participate in a training camp with the Army. According to him, this will enable the players to gain fitness more quickly.

According to ESPNcricinfo, the PCB chief, while talking to the Pakistani players, bluntly said that when he was watching the match in Lahore, he did not remember any of you going into the six stands. Whenever a six-year-old went into the stands, I thought it must have been hit by a foreigner. For this reason, I asked the board to make such a plan that every player can gain fitness quickly. For this, you will have to make proper efforts.

He said that now New Zealand is coming, then after Ireland and England, there is T20 World Cup 2024. I wondered when our players would train. We are going to conduct a training camp at Kakul Military Academy between March 25 and April 8. Pakistani Army will help you in training. He said that this is not the first time that the Army is going to help in the training of the Pakistan team.

The Pakistan team had earlier taken training from the army under the leadership of Misbah ul Haq. After training, Misbah was seen saluting the Pakistani Army after scoring a century against England and also did 10 pushups. However, the series ended in a draw at 2-2. During the same period, the Pakistan team also remained on top of the ICC Test rankings for some time. The PCB chief also asked all the players to play for Pakistan instead of playing T20 league.
