'Pakistan will now get relief package from IMF', Shehbaz Sharif said - all conditions are fulfilled, now there is no hindrance

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed hope that the country may soon sign a staff-level agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to get the stalled relief package.
Shahbaz said that Pakistan has fulfilled all the conditions necessary for the agreement with the IMF. PM Sharif's remarks come at a time when many believe that the chances of continuation of the current $6.5 billion IMF bailout program are slim. The deadline to reach an agreement ends on June 30.
Let us tell you that in the last four years, the agreement with the IMF for the economic relief package has been derailed at least four times. PM Sharif blamed the previous government for the current economic crisis, saying that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government of former Prime Minister Imran Khan violated the agreement with the IMF.
Referring to the government's plan, Shahbaz said that if there is further delay in the agreement with the IMF, I will let you know about it. The IMF signed an agreement in 2019 to provide a $6 billion loan to Pakistan on meeting certain conditions.
Sharif said Pakistan has fulfilled all the pre-conditions and is expected to sign the agreement with the IMF this month. He has told the public that there is no need to panic. We have fulfilled all the conditions of the IMF. Obstacles in finalizing the agreement have been removed. The agreement will be done this month itself.
