The 29 players were named by the Pakistan Cricket Board on Monday; fifteen of them could be chosen to compete in the 2024 T20 World Cup. Based on their level of fitness, these players will take part in a fitness camp and be chosen for the team. The Pakistani team will play the T20 series against New Zealand before the T20 World Cup. A squad of fifteen players will also be chosen from the camp to play in the T20 series against New Zealand.
