Punishment for calling God cruel on social media: Pakistan sent Hindu boy to jail, wrote a post on the conversion of girls
A Hindu boy has been jailed for blasphemy in the Sindh area of Pakistan. His only crime was that in a social media post, he had called Maula i.e. God cruel.
According to the report of Bitter Winter, a boy named Luv Kumar had written a post expressing grief. In this, the kidnapping and forced conversion of Hindu girls were criticized.
The boy had said in a post written in Urdu, "O Maula, how can you be so cruel in taking decisions? Of this, the local police put the boy in jail without informing the family members.
On November 22, the boy went completely missing. After which the family members were informed on December 27 that he was in jail.
The law in Pakistan on blasphemy is not very clear. However, in such cases, the death penalty can also be given. According to the report of ANI, in the year 2022, several attacks were carried out on the minority community of Pakistan in Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by accusing them of blasphemy. The report says that blasphemy is only used as an excuse. The people there adopt such tactics to grab the land of the minority community and extort money from them.
