Sangeet Vandan is dedicated to Indian music: Padmashree Hussain brothers said, God also gives open sky to those who make their thoughts fly high
Ghazal singers Ustad Ahmed Hussain and Ustad Mohammad Hussain, who was recently awarded the Padma Shri, say that effort is something that takes a person somewhere. The Hussain brothers said this on the occasion of the launch of 'Sangeet Vandan', an e-magazine dedicated to Indian music, launched for the first time in the country by Assistant Professor Vandana Khurana of Rajasthan Sangeet Sansthan. He said that 'God also gives open sky to those who give high flight to their worries'.
It is a matter of pleasure that a musician has started an e-magazine based on Indian music. Earlier Hussain brothers, senior musician Prof. Prem Dave, Principal of Rajasthan Music Institute Dr. Vasudha Saxena and Institute's Assistant Professor Dr. Gaurav Jain launched the website of the entire magazine after releasing the cover page of the e-magazine. Editor-in-Chief of Sangeet Vandan, Vandana Khurana said that it will be a bilingual (Hindi and English) monthly, in which readers will get to read things related to Indian music through social media. This will be the country's first e-magazine dedicated entirely to music. In this, the views of subject experts, artists, critics, teachers and researchers will be invited in the form of short articles. Vandana said that the first issue of Sangeet Vandan was sung by Saraswati herself. Dedicated to Kishori Amonkar. In today's technological era, his aim behind publishing the subject material in the form of an e-magazine has been to make musical thought accessible to the readers of the country and abroad, as well as to encourage new and independent and relevant writing on the subject of music.
In every issue of this, short articles touching on different dimensions of music, a look at the important activities happening in the field of music, a description of folk instruments of any state of the country, an analysis of any one book, etc. will be included regularly.
