OPPO A2: Oppo's budget phone launched with 24GB RAM 50MP camera, design and features will make you want to buy it

If you are planning to buy a new smartphone then there is good news for you. OPPO has introduced a new budget smartphone – OPPO A2. The new Oppo A-series smartphone has been launched with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage.

The phone has a MediaTek Dimension 6020 SoC processor. The phone has a 50MP dual camera setup. The handset has a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

The price of Oppo A2 has been set at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 16,500) for the base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The top-end model with 12GB RAM + 512GB storage is priced at CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 20,000). It is currently available for purchase in China via the Oppo Store in Ice Crystal Violet, Jinghai Black, and Kingbo Emerald color options.

The dual SIM (Nano) Oppo A2 features a 6.72-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) LTPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 391ppi pixel density, 680nits peak brightness, and 91.4 screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC chipset, which comes with 12GB RAM and Mali-G57 MC2. The onboard memory can be expanded up to 24GB using the Virtual RAM feature. The handset comes with up to 512GB of UFS2.2 storage.

The Oppo A2 sports a dual rear camera unit, consisting of a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 77-degree field of view, along with a 2MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture lens. For selfies and video chats, there is an 8MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens.

Connectivity options on the Oppo A2 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, GPS, and A-GPS. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports a face unlock feature. The handset comes with an IP54 rating.
