Officer Suspended For Circulating Fake Order To Create Dummy Accounts On Facebook And Twitter

Jaipur: Satish Kumar Sahariya, an assistant director-level officer posted in Sawai Madhopur, has been suspended and an FIR has been lodged against him for circulating a fake order to create a dummy account on Facebook and Twitter. Om Prakash Bairwa, Director, Department of Economics and Statistics has clarified that no order has been issued by him to create dummy accounts on Facebook and Twitter.
In this regard, Satish Kumar Sahariya, an assistant director level officer posted in Sawai Madhopur, has been suspended and an FIR has been lodged against him. According to an official statement, the Director of Economics and Statistics has written a letter to the Sawai Madhopur Superintendent of Police asking him to register an FIR and investigate the matter. Bairwa said that a letter from Saharia addressed to the block statistics officers is being circulated, in which the instructions given by him are being circulated.
While mentioning it has been mentioned to create a dummy account on Facebook and Tweet. He said that no such letter has been issued by the department and the said letter is fake. This act is an offense under the Information Technology Act, 2000, so police should investigate the matter and take action against the guilty. The department has issued another order suspending Sahariya under Rule 13 of the Rajasthan Civil Services (Classification, Control, and Appeal) Rules 1958. During the suspension period, the headquarters of Saharia will be the Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Jaipur.
