Now YouTubers are earning by selling unused videos, AI companies are paying huge amount
Video: Last year, companies like OpenAI, Meta, and Adobe launched AI video generators. Large amounts of data and video footage are required to train these systems.

Nowadays, YouTubers and other digital content creators earn not only by publishing their videos but also by selling those without publishing them. Such videos are bought by AI companies like OpenAI, Google, and Moon Valley for training their algorithms. These are special videos that give much contribution to the improvement of AI systems.
As per Amar Ujala sources, AI companies are offering up to around US $ 4 (about Rs 350) for one minute of video footage. Videos with better quality and format are getting higher prices. Companies are paying more for 4K quality and drone footage. At the same time, simple videos shot for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok can cost up to Rs 150 per minute.
Companies like OpenAI, Meta, and Adobe launched AI video generators last year that create realistic video footage based on text prompts. It requires a great deal of data and footage to train such systems. And this is a race, according to experts, where companies require more and more data to be ahead of others.
These companies generally train their models by taking photos, videos, and text from the Internet. Many times, content creators, news publishers, and actors express their displeasure due to the utilization of their content without permission. These companies were accused of violation of copyright rules and many cases were filed last year. After these criticisms, the companies are buying videos directly from content creators so that legal action can be avoided.
