FSSAI has launched a mobile app with the help of which you will be able to complain about adulteration in any food item. The name of this app is Food Safety Connect and you can download it from Google Play Store.
Food adulteration is rising quickly across the nation. Everything is contaminated, including spices and honey, among other things. Coloring vegetables with toxic colors is a tactic used to sell them. Two major spice brands were recently outlawed internationally, and the spices were brought back. Although it used to be very difficult to detect adulteration in food products, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has now made it simpler.
With the FSSAI's new mobile app, you can report any food item that you believe to be adulterated. This app is called Food Safety Connect, and it is available for download from the Google Play Store. You can also use this app to find out a brand's FSSAI license or registration number.
Through this app, advisories are also issued by the government from time to time to the customers. If you have any complaint about adulteration in anything. After downloading the app, you will have to log in through a mobile number or e-mail ID. After making a complaint, you will also be able to chase its status.
