Now you can post on thread from Instagram, new update is coming
Threads: One thing to be noted here is that you will not be able to share hashtags, that is, if you share a post with a hashtag on Instagram, that hashtag will not be visible on Threads. Meta is promoting Threads on both Facebook and Instagram.
Meta launched X (formerly Twitter) Threads last year. Threads is also a microblogging platform like X. There have been complaints from people regarding Threads since its launch. Threads does not have many features that users need, although the company is working on it.
Upon launch, the Threads app did not have a delete option; however, the company subsequently added this feature. Threads is currently developing a new feature that will allow Instagram posts to be posted on Threads automatically; in other words, cross-posting will soon be possible.
Although this Threads feature is currently under test, it will only function with photos—not with videos or reels—even after the update. From an official perspective, Instagram has evolved into a full-fledged video platform. Threads can be turned into a photo platform in this scenario.
Meta has said that this upcoming feature will be optional i.e. any Instagram user can link their post if they want to share it on the thread.
