Now the world's popular corn chips will be available in India: Reliance will soon launch Allen's Bugles in three flavors

Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, on Friday (May 26) announced that it will soon launch the popular corn chips snack Allen's Bugles in India. Allen's Bugles is a very popular snack brand in global markets like the UK, the US, and the Middle East.
Allen's Bugles will be available for Rs.10. Allen's Bugles will be sold at a pocket-friendly price starting at Rs.10. It will be available in the market in three flavors: Original (Salted), Tomato, and Cheese. Allen's Bugles is an international corn chips snack brand owned by General Mills.
Allen's Bugles Snacks brand has been around for over 50 years. It is owned by General Mills. Minneapolis-based General Mills' portfolio includes popular brands such as Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, Nature Valley, Häagen-Dazs, Cheerios, Old El Paso, Anise, Wanchai Ferry, and more. US-based General Mills is a food company and multinational manufacturer.
RCPL said in a statement that they want aspirational Indians to taste and enjoy such premium offerings. On expanding its business in the FMCG market, the company said, "We are actively participating in the western snacks market to focus on taste profile and overall experience.
Seshadri Savalgi, Financial Director, General Mills India said, “General Mills is thrilled to bring one of its most loved brands globally – Allens Bugles to India. Allen's Bugles - Cone-shaped corn chips. This chip was launched in 1964. Then after that, it became popular all over the world.
The launching of the chips will start from Kerala and then gradually it will be sold across India. RCPL's FMCG portfolio includes Campa Cola, Socio, Rusik, Independence, Toffeeman, Maliban, Glimmer, and Dojo.
On Thursday, RCPL announced the completion of the acquisition of a 51% stake in Lotus Chocolate Company. Lotus Company manufactures chocolate, cocoa products, and cocoa derivatives. The company supplies its products to chocolate makers and users around the world.
