Nose bleed, fever and then death: 8 died due to unknown disease in this country of Africa, 200 quarantined

An unknown disease is spreading in the country of Equatorial Guinea in Central Africa. At least 8 people have died due to this so far. 200 people have also been quarantined for fear of infection. Health Minister Mitoha Ondo'o Ayakaba says that the disease was first reported on 7 February.
Ayakaba told that all those who died of infection had attended the same funeral ceremony a few days ago. Samples of the patients are being sent to the neighbouring country Gabon to find out the cause of the disease. At the same time, some samples will also be sent to Dakar, the capital of Senegal.
According to the news agency Reuters report, this infection is a hemorrhagic fever. In this, the patient first gets nosebleeds, then fever, joint pain and body ache. The patient dies after a few hours. The 200 people who have been quarantined are currently asymptomatic.
Ayakaba told that the movement between two nearby villages in the country has been banned. Contact tracing is currently being done. At the same time, Health Minister Malachi Manaouda of the neighbouring country Cameroon said that the border with Equatorial Guinea has been temporarily closed. Manaouda said- This decision will help in early tracing of the disease and prevention of infection.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has launched an investigation into an unknown outbreak of infection in Equatorial Guinea. The WHO spokesperson told that the health agency is also testing the samples. The cause of this disease should be known in a few days.
