Nissan is going to stop this car after 17 years, the company announced

Legendary car manufacturer Nissan is going to discontinue one of its sports cars. Its name is the Nissan GT-R. The company is going to discontinue it after 17 years of brilliant production. The production of this car will stop from October this year.

The company introduced the Nissan GT-R in the year 2007. Popularly known as Godzilla, this car replaced the R34 Skyline GT-R. The company has discontinued it in India and Europe in 2022. In the last few years, the company has also made two major updates to keep this car in the market as per the changing rules.

The Nissan GT-R sports car was extremely popular in the tuning community. The GT-R was originally equipped with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 petrol engine capable of producing 570bhp and 637Nm of torque. The vehicle came with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. This vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just three seconds. At the same time, its maximum speed is 315kmph. This vehicle achieves a mileage of 9.0 km/liter.

The Nissan GT-R sports car is equipped with six airbags, 20-inch alloy wheels, and an 11-speaker Bose audio system for passenger safety. Aside from that, the car's interior features black, red, and ivory-colored leather seats.

The company has not yet announced any replacement for this car. However, in October 2023, the company introduced the Hyper Force Electric Concept as the next-generation GT-R, which will get to see an electric drivetrain. This car is expected to hit the market soon.

Talking about the price of this car, its starting ex-showroom price in India is Rs 2.12 crore.
