The three associates were running a big terrorist gangster syndicate in India on the instructions of Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) terrorist Dala. The NIA said that accused Maur and Rajpura were operating as a sleeper cell and were being sheltered by Rajeev Kumar and the trio had planned to carry out multiple terror attacks on the instructions of Dala and with the money received from him.
The statement said that Maur and Rajpura were the shooters of the gang and were assigned the task of carrying out targeted killings, while Rajeev Kumar alias Sheela was receiving money from Arsh Dala for harboring Harry Maur and Harry Rajpura. The NIA investigation also revealed that Kumar was also arranging logistics support and weapons for the other two on the instructions of Dala.
The investigating agency arrested Maur and Rajpura on November 23, 2023, and Kumar on January 12, 2024. "The investigation is ongoing to dismantle the entire terrorist-gangster syndicate," the NIA said.
