Ahead of the India tour, New Zealand has appointed former all-rounder Jacob Oram as the bowling coach of the men's team. He will take charge on October 7. Oram began his coaching career with New Zealand A in 2014 and later worked as a bowling coach for the New Zealand women's team in 2018. He was named Central Hinds' head coach last summer, and the team advanced to the Super Smash finals. Oram has also served as an assistant coach in the Abu Dhabi T10 and as MI Cape Town's bowling coach in the SA-20. In his international cricket career, he has played 229 matches for the New Zealand team. He has 4688 international runs to his name, including six centuries and 21 half-centuries. He has also bowled 252 wickets.
