Hero MotoCorp has launched the new updated 2025 Destini 125 ahead of the India Mobility Global Expo 2025. This scooter is the brand's representative in the 125 cc segment. Available in three variants, this two-wheeler comes with several updates including design changes and new features. All this is offered with an improved mileage of 59 kilometers per liter.
The new Hero Destiny 125 scooter comes with a 125 cc single-cylinder engine. This engine generates 9 bhp of power and 10.4 Nm of peak torque. This unit works in conjunction with a CVT. According to Hero, the new Destiny 125 scooter gives a mileage of 59 kmpl, which is the highest in the segment. The company claims that it gives more mileage due to its i3S idle stop-start system technology.
The brand has refreshed the appeal of the Hero Destiny 125 with a new curvy design. In terms of styling, the new Destiny features a neo-retro design with copper-toned chrome elements. It has an LED headlight with integrated turn indicators with highlights in the apron. The tail section has been given a sleek look. It has diamond-cut alloy wheels and signature H-shaped LED tail lamps. Which enhances the unique appeal of the two-wheeler.
The design has been given three color options, including colors like Eternal White, Regal Black, and Groovy Red. The variant ZX has two-shade options Cosmic Blue and Mystic Magenta. While on other sides, only two color choices are available in its ZX+ model, including Eternal White and Regal Black.
Additionally, it will also feature a fully digital screen on higher ZX and ZX + trims. The base VX variants will come equipped with analog display screen. This brand will further extend smartphone connectivity via turn-by-turn navigation, Auto cancel indicator and boot lamp, amongst other features. Furthermore, copper Chrome accent and cushioned backrest features shall remain exclusive for top-of-the-line ZX+.
The brand has also worked on reducing the NVH level on the scooter. Apart from this, changes have been made mechanically. This comes in the form of a 190 mm front disc brake on the ZX variant. This is the first time the scooter has been equipped with a disc brake. The brakes are mounted on 12-inch wheels. Also, the under-seat storage is now 19 litres.
