New tablet Honor Pad V9 with 11-inch screen and power bank-like battery for less than 25,000

Honor Pad V9 was launched on Monday in China along with the Honor GT handset. This tablet has features that include an 11.5-inch 2.8K LCD screen, MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme Edition processor, and a 10,100mAh battery. It runs on Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0 and has an eight-speaker system with spatial audio support. It is available in standard and soft light versions and also has support for Honor's Magic Pencil 3 and Pad V9 smart Bluetooth keyboard. The tablet is an upgrade to the Honor Pad V8, which was unveiled in China in April 2023.

The Honor Pad V9 price in China starts at CNY 2,099 (around Rs. 24,500) for the 8GB + 128GB model. Its 8GB + 256GB variant comes for CNY 2,299 (around Rs. 26,800). They can be availed for a limited duration of time starting at CNY 1,999 approximately Rs. 23,300) and CNY 2,199 (approximately Rs. 25,600) respectively.

The prices of the Honor Pad V9 are set at CNY 2,499 - roughly Rs. 29,100 and CNY 2,799 - roughly Rs. 32,600 for the 256GB and 512GB variants, respectively. The prices of the Honor Pad V9 Soft Light version 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB models are CNY 2,399 - roughly Rs. 28,000 and CNY 2,699 - roughly Rs. 31,500 respectively.

The Honor Pad V9 has an 11.5-inch 2.8K (2800 x 1840 pixels) IMAX Enhanced LCD screen, featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, 291ppi pixel density, 500nits peak brightness level, DCI-P3 color gamut, and HDR Vivid support. Also, it is a flicker-free, reflection-free, low-blue light display that has obtained TÜV Rheinland certification.

It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme Edition processor. The maximum provided for RAM and internal memory storage capacity is up to 12GB and 512GB, respectively. It runs on Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0 out-of-the-box. It is equipped with several AI-supported features that help users in note-taking and multitasking. It has an AI assistant called YOYO.

As for cameras, the Honor Pad V9 packs a 13MP primary rear sensor and an 8MP front-facing sensor. Hi-Res Audio certified, the tablet boasts an eight-speaker unit with DTS:X and spatial audio.

The Honor Pad V9 packs a 10,100mAh battery. The device supports 66W wired fast charging. You get Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB Type-C port. It's a big tablet that weighs 475 grams with overall dimensions of 259.1 x 176.1 x 6.1 mm.
