New Snapchat feature is coming to Instagram, know how it will work
This feature of Instagram is currently being tested, that is, beta users can use it. There is no information yet about when it will be launched for the general public. Instagram has also not officially given any information about this feature.
At this age of superfast internet, copying somebody isn't any moral crime. Each social media or other application is duplicating each other—Meta rules them all. Since the very beginning, Meta has been copying the features of other apps. A new feature is about to come on Instagram that was originally copied from Snapchat.
A feature is coming to Instagram after which users will be able to share text, photos, or videos with their current location. It will be visible in their post itself; that means text, photo or video and location will be visible together.
What's more, this upcoming Instagram feature is actually going to be exactly like the Snapchat Snap Maps feature that was launched back in 2017. It's been said that these features of the Instagram map will come with privacy settings.
While using Instagram's map feature, users will have location settings, meaning just those who they want will get to see their location. For example, a user will choose an option of close friends or only followers for his location.
The feature is currently being tested on Instagram, meaning beta users can access it. No word has been had on when the product will be launched to the general public. It hasn't officially announced any information on this feature yet.
