Earlier, the company had confirmed the sunroof feature in the new Brezza, which is being given for the first time in any Maruti car. At the same time, India's largest automaker has now announced that the head-up display (HUD) safety feature will be given in its upcoming sub-compact SUV. Earlier, the company had offered the same feature in its new-generation Baleno premium hatchback car, which was launched in India earlier this year. The new Brezza will be the second car in the company's lineup to have this safety feature.

The company says that the HUD screen included in the Brezza will show important information to the user and enhance the safety of the car. "This feature will conveniently display important information like speed, RPM, Mileage, and Energy Flow to the customers so that the driver can drive without taking his eyes off the road," the company said in a statement shared with the media recently.
Launched in 2016, the Brezza has emerged as one of the best-selling subcompact SUVs in the Indian market. In the latest avatar, the name 'Vitara' will be dropped from the next-generation model lineup and it will be named Maruti Brezza.

Maruti has also announced pre-launch bookings for the Brezza, which will go on sale in the country on June 30. Buyers willing to buy the new 2022 Brezza can pre-book by visiting Maruti Suzuki's Arena showroom or online on the company's official website by paying an initial amount of Rs 11,000.

It will come with many new features along with changes in the exterior look. Key cabin highlights will include an updated 9-inch main infotainment screen, wireless charging, 360-degree camera, HUD, ambient lighting, electric sunroof, and ventilated front seats. The touchscreen infotainment system is expected to come with Suzuki's Connected Car technology.

With major changes to the exterior and interior and a new engine, the Maruti Brezza 2022 model year will come with a decent price hike. Currently, the base variant of the current model costs Rs 7.84 lakh and the range-topping model costs Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new generation model is expected to fall within the price range of Rs 8 lakh to Rs 12 lakh.
