Mercedes-Benz India has launched the GLC 43 AMG Coupe 4MATIC in the domestic market. It has been priced at Rs 1.10 crore (ex-showroom, India) in the Indian market. What is special in the new gen Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe 4MATIC? Let's find out.

The GLC 43 AMG Coupe returns to India after a two-year hiatus. It is underpinned by the latest-generation GLC SUV. Several cosmetic updates have been made to its design, done in an AMG-way—right from the Panamericana grille to sporty AMG-spec alloy wheels and more muscular bumpers featuring larger air intakes. The receding roofline of the latest GLC 43 AMG Coupe differs from that of the standard GLC.

The cabin has taken the overall layout from the standard GLC and added some AMG-specific upgrades such as the inclusion of an AMG Performance steering wheel, sports seats, contrast red stitching against an all-black cabin, and others. The GLC 43 AMG Coupe 4MATIC will make it to the country via the CBU route.

The new GLC 43 AMG Coupe will be powered by a 2-litre in-line four-cylinder turbo-petrol motor. The new engine deploys an electric gas exhaust turbocharger, which has evolved from the ranks of F1 cars. It also has a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. On a 3-litre V6 mill, it produces 415 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque. This engine is coupled to a 9-speed AMG multi-clutch transmission, which sends power to all four wheels.

Performance Coupe SUV runs from 0-100 kmph in 4.8 seconds. It has multiple driving modes, adjustable suspension with a three-step AMG steering, and several new features.
