If you are a Netflix user then there is good news for you. This December, Netflix is adding Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. The game is free for subscribers and includes updated versions of Grand Theft Auto III, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas, which are coming to Netflix on December 14.

Starting today, gamers can pre-register for the game on iOS and Google Play. The games will be available to subscribers in the Netflix mobile app and separately on the App Store and Google Play. Netflix says these three titles have been updated for mobile.

The streaming giant has made significant investments in video games, spending nearly a billion dollars to build its gaming service. The company is in the process of hiring several game executives to join its team of 400 staff members, who will work on the development of a major AAA title. The price of this title can reach millions of dollars.

In an official blog post, Netflix has announced that it will be adding the GTA Trilogy to Netflix Games in December. The popular series will be available on Netflix's app on Android and iOS from December 14. The title is already available for pre-order through the Google Play Store and Apple's App Store.

Netflix Games will have a library of over 80 gaming titles. It has started adding big names in recent times with the goal of attracting more players. These include Dead Cells, Spiritfarer, Immortality, and Kentucky Route Zero. The team is also adding titles based on its popular TV shows like Money Heist, Shadow and Bone: Enter the Fold, and The Dragon Prince.
