This scam turned into a major disaster in the lives of the lives of aspirants. After the investigation, the Patna Police arrested seven people, including four candidates. Out of seven, two accused, Nitish Kumar and Amit Anand, were part of a problem-solving gang. In their confession letter, they stated that they were contacted by Sikandar Prasad Yadavendu, who was a junior engineer at Bihar's Danapur Town Council. According to Nitish and Amit, Yadavendu asked them to provide the question paper for four candidates, including his nephew, for a price of "Rs 32 lakh.".
Anurag Yadav, Yadavendu's nephew, admitted the questions were the same in the actual question paper. His stay arrangements were done by his uncle Yadavendu at a government guest house, and he was called from Kota with his mother. The involvement of'Mantri ji' was also seen as Pritam Kumar, the personal assistant of former Bihar Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, helping in booking the guest house for Yadavendu.
This NEET paper leak has turned into a revolution, as it played with the tireless efforts and emotions of 2,333,297 aspirants and their parents.
