Archer Raj Aditi asked the Government for financial Support: Aditi's mother said, apart from the bow, we had to take a loan several times to buy arrows. But now our financial condition has become very bad.'

Amidst difficult circumstances, 18-year-old female shooter Raj Aditi of Jharkhand won medals based on her talent, but now due to not getting financial help from the government, she is facing a crisis of continuing the sport. The financial condition of Aditi's house, who lives in Namda Basti, is very bad. Aditi had won a medal for Jharkhand after 13 years in the National Ranking Junior Championship held in Sikkim two years ago. She won the bronze medal by defeating the archer of Maharashtra.
Aditi's father Suryamani Sharma used to do a small job in a company, which went away during the Corona period. Aditi said I bought a bow many years ago, which cost one and a half lakh rupees. This bow was broken due to the lockdown during the Corona period. During the same time, my father also lost his job, but just so that I could continue playing, he took a loan of Rs 1.60 lakh in 2021 and bought me a new bow and arrow.
Aditi's father has not got a job yet. In the last few years, the debt on the family has also increased a lot. Aditi's mother said, apart from the bow, we had to take loans several times to buy arrows. But now our financial condition has become very bad. We cannot provide Aditi with arrows and other equipment. We are looking to our government for financial assistance. If the government helps a little, then Aditi's career can move forward.
Aditi's mother said that one point was deducted from Aditi during a competition in Sonipat, Haryana, due to bad arrows. Because of that one point, she missed qualifying for an international competition. Many times Aditi loses courage, but we keep encouraging her to move forward, but now our condition has become bad.
Aditi said I am currently among the top archers of Jharkhand. This time I have qualified for the National Games on an individual basis for Jharkhand. I have to win a medal in these games and for this, I practice for 7 to 8 hours every day. But how can I prepare well due to poor financial conditions and lack of facilities.
