Nandini Gupta of Rajasthan Crowned Femina Miss India World 2023

Nandini Gupta from Kota, Rajasthan, was crowned Femina Miss India World 2023 at a grand ceremony held on the 15th of April. Shreya Poonja from Delhi and Thounaojam Strela Luwang from Manipur were announced as the first and second runners-up respectively.
The 19-year-old Nandini will now represent India at the 71st edition of the Miss World pageant to be held in the United Arab Emirates. Nandini is a firm believer that failures are essential in defining one's identity. She is determined to face all the difficulties, setbacks, and rejections that may come her way. Nandini is dedicated to conquering challenges and succeeding.
Femina Miss India 2023 was held at the Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak, Imphal, Manipur. The judge's panel was graced by Femina Miss India Universe 2002 & Mentor Neha Dhupia, boxing icon Laishram Sarita Devi, choreographer Terence Lewis, film director & writer Harshavarshan Kulkarni, and ace designers Rocky Star and Namrata Joshipura.
Nandini, who hails from Kota in Rajasthan, believes that Rajasthan's heritage, culture, traditions, and sweetness in people’s voices are what make it unique. She defines herself as “vocal and vivacious” and believes that every woman must have confidence in herself, should be grounded in her roots, and always compassionate toward her dream and giving back to society.

She was motivated by her experience in organizing and hosting various extracurricular activities and events to pursue a degree in Business Management. Nandini is aware that difficulties will certainly emerge, but she is ready to face them head-on by viewing setbacks and failures as teaching moments.
Actor and Miss World 2000 Priyanka Chopra is one beauty queen who inspires Nandini the most. She admires Priyanka for giving back to society, excelling as an actor, and inspiring people with her great sense of humour and zeal to gain more as she grows.
