Murder of live-in partner in Bangalore

In Bangalore, a girl killed her live-in partner. The matter was related to the uploading of personal photos of the girl and her mother on social media. Architect Pratibha saw her pictures on social media. On investigation, he came to know that live-in partner Vikas had uploaded these with a fake ID, so he planned to take revenge on Vikas.
The police on Monday arrested Pratibha, her friends Gautam and Sushil on charges of murder. One of the accused Surya is absconding.
Police said that the deceased Dr. Vikas was working in a private hospital in the city after completing his MBBS course from Ukraine. Earlier he was in Chennai and later came to Bangalore to do a certificate course. A year ago Vikas and Pratibha took a house to rent near Udupi Garden and started living together there. Their families were also aware that they were live-in and about to get married.
When Pratibha came to know that Vikas had uploaded her and mother's photo with a fake ID, she asked Vikas about it on September 10. There was a fierce fight between the two. After this Pratibha informed her friends about the incident. They came home and again had an argument. Meanwhile, Pratibha attacked Vikas.
The accused girl Pratibha attacked Vikas with the sticks and bottles of the mob wiping the floor. Due to this, he fainted. The accused took her to Jayshree Hospital, but doctors referred her to St John's Medical College for further treatment, where she died.
Meanwhile, Pratibha tells the police the false story of Vikas being unconscious and says that Vikas had a fight with friends, in which he got injured. He called Vikas's elder brother Vijay and told him the same. Vikas succumbed to his injuries during treatment on September 14. Vijay later lodged a complaint with the Bangalore Police. Based on this, Pratibha and her friends were arrested.
