Motion Poster Of Aishwarya Rai's 'Ponniyin Selvan' Released, The First Glimpse Of Chola Dynasty

Director Mani Ratnam's much-awaited film 'Ponniyin Selvan', which is a historical Tamil language film, is all set to release this year. The film has created panic among the people right from its first look. Now the first motion poster of 'Ponniyin Selvan' has also been released, after which the film has once again started trending on Twitter.
'Ponniyin Selvan 1' is an ambitious film by Mani Ratnam. Which is an adaptation of Kalki's classic novel Ponniyin Selvan. PS-1 will depict the period of the Chola Empire, a major tenth-century dynasty, whose story is woven around the power struggle among the dynasty's successors. While releasing the motion poster of PS-1, the makers of the film wrote in the caption, "Look out, prepare yourself. Gear up for the adventure. Chola aa rahe hai!"

'Ponniyin Selvan' is a Pan India film, which will be released in two parts. The first part of the film i.e. 'PS1' will hit the theaters on 30 September this year. The film, directed by Mani Ratnam, has music by legendary musician AR Rahman. Apart from Hindi, the film will also be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.

A few days after 'PS1' knocks in theatres, it will also be released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime. Recently, the makers had told that they have sold the rights of the film to Amazon Prime for 125 crores.
