Most durable phone Infinix Smart 9 HD with 13MP camera launching on January 28

Infinix Smart 9 HD will launch in India soon. The possible launch date of the handset along with the design renders had already been leaked online. But, now the company has confirmed the launch date of the successor of Infinix Smart 8 HD. The company has also revealed the design, color options, and major features of the upcoming smartphone. A live microsite for the phone has also confirmed its availability on Flipkart. The phone has been teased to come as the 'most durable phone in the segment'.

While Flipkart has not revealed the launch date, a promotional banner has confirmed that the Infinix Smart 9 HD will indeed launch in India on January 28 at 12 pm IST. The Live microsite confirms that it will be offered via Flipkart. It is being referred to as the 'most durable phone in the segment' and has reportedly been drop-tested 2,50,000 times besides having rated IP54 for dust and splash resistance.

The design of the Infinix Smart 9 HD has gone live, looking similar to leaked renders that came online earlier. It gets a square camera module with rounded edges housing two sensors. There is also a pill-shaped LED flash unit. For color options, it will at least come in Coral Gold, Metallic Black, and Mint Green colors.

The Infinix Smart 9 HD will sport a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 500 nits brightness. It will pack dual speakers with DTS audio. Further, it will offer a 13MP dual rear camera for shooting pictures and an 8MP front camera sensor for selfies and video calls. The phone has been confirmed to get a dual LED flash.

The company has confirmed that the Infinix Smart 9 HD will run on a MediaTek octa-core Helio processor. It will support 3GB physical RAM as well as 3GB virtual RAM extension feature. The phone will have a 5,000mAh battery and USB Type-C charging port. It is being claimed that it will give up to 14.5 hours of video playback time and up to 8.6 hours of gaming time.
