Moitra's parliamentary login ID was used in Dubai when she was in India: BJP MP Nishikant Dubey

The dispute between TMC MP Mahua Moitra and BJP Lok Sabha member Nishikant Dubey is increasing. Nishikant Dubey on Saturday said she was in India when her parliamentary ID was used in Dubai and claimed that the National Informatics Center (NIC) had disclosed the information to investigating agencies.

In a post in Hindi on X, the BJP leader said that "an MP mortgaged the security of the country for some money."

The BJP MP said the MP's ID was opened from Dubai when the so-called MP was in India. The entire Government of India including the Prime Minister, Finance Department, and central agencies use this NIC.

He said, 'Do Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the opposition still have to do politics? People will decide.

Dubey said, NIC had given this information to the investigating agency but did not reveal the name of the agency.

In his post, Dubey did not directly name Moitra, whom he accused of accepting bribes and taking advantage of asking questions in the Lok Sabha at the behest of businessman Darshan Hiranandani to target Adani Group and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Ethics Committee of the Lok Sabha is looking into Dubey's complaint and has asked him to appear before it on October 26 to record his "oral evidence".

In a signed affidavit submitted to the committee, Hiranandani acknowledged Moitra's parliamentary login to target Adani after state-owned giant Indian Oil Corporation booked capacity at the Gujarat-based group's Dhamra LNG import facility in Odisha. was used, and not at his firm's planned facility.

Moitra, whose party has maintained silence on the issue, has remained aggressive and continued to attack Adani Group and Dubey while rejecting the allegations against her.

Moitra said on Friday, that I am welcome to answer the questions of the CBI and Ethics Committee (which has an absolute majority of BJP members) if they call me. I have neither the time nor the interest to run a media circus trial directed by Adani or to respond to BJP trolls. I am enjoying Durga Puja in Nadia. Shubho Shashthi.
