Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started preparations for the general elections to be held in 2024. He held a breakfast meeting with BJP MPs after the recently concluded winter session of Parliament. He explained to the MPs the importance of social media and digital presence in the present times to come.
BJP sources told that PM Modi had called the MPs to meet according to the states. He asked the MPs to work vigorously on social media to increase their following and keep voters engaged. Asks Rajya Sabha to pay special attention to party MPs to connect people. The BJP has 92 MPs in the Rajya Sabha.
Modi told the Rajya Sabha MPs – they should actively participate in the responsibilities of the area assigned to them by the party. Their work should be encouraging. Regular visits to the area assigned to him would be beneficial. Their presence in the area should be registered in the minds of the local people.
The Prime Minister stressed publicizing the work done by the Center so that people have faith in the government. MPs were also asked to be present in Parliament at all times and to come prepared for debates and discussions.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked the MPs whether they visited the Prime Minister's Museum, Kashi and Mahakal Corridor, Statue of Unity. The PM said that if the MPs have not visited here, they should do so and encourage the people of their area to visit here as well. Organize tours for the public at these historic places.
India has got the chairmanship of G20 for a full year in December 2022. In this one year, more than 600 programs will be organized in more than 55 cities of the country. Describing this occasion as the pride of the country, PM Modi said that encourage common people to participate in these programs.
Narendra Modi has not taken even a day's leave after becoming the Prime Minister in 2014. He is also conscious of his health. In the meeting with the MPs, he asked how many regular health checkups he gets done. If not, then they should do so without delay.
The Bharatiya Janata Party has stepped up its preparations to score a hat-trick of victory in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The party is focusing on the seats it lost in the 2019 general elections. The BJP already has a plan for the Lok Sabha, which has identified 160 seats that the party has not won before.
