Modi 3.0: Union Health Minister JP Nadda said that for the first time, the government has started the facility of bringing patient samples and reports through drones in all AIIMS, central hospitals, and hospitals of the northeastern state of the country.
The Narendra Modi government's three major health gifts to the country within the first 100 days of the third term include one about the provision of drone services in the hospital.
Union Health Minister JP Nadda said for the first time, facility of bringing patient samples and reports through drones has started in all AIIMS, central hospitals, and northeastern state hospitals of the country. He said, similarly, universal vaccination of more than five crore pregnant women and children of the country has been completely digitalised. Just like anti-corona vaccination, this too would fall beyond the ambit of regional compulsions. While doing this, starting from next month, about six crore elderly people of four and a half crore houses will be given Ayushman Health Card, through which they will be able to get free treatment. Nadda further said that during the last three months, the government has invested about Rs 15 lakh crore. In it, several big decisions pertaining to the health sector were made.
Nadda said that the Uvin portal will be launched across the country next month. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this digital platform which is similar to the Covin platform used for vaccination during Corona. He said that every year about 2.25 crore pregnant women and 2.36 crore children are vaccinated in the country. A woman is given three types of vaccines during pregnancy and a child is given a total of 11 types of vaccines from birth to the age of 17 years, which protect them from 12 types of diseases and a total of 27 doses have to be taken. Many times they miss vaccination. Now a digital platform is being started to take this target to 100 percent.
The Health Minister said that the government has taken the third big decision regarding disaster management. Mobile hospitals are being made available in about 50 hospitals of the country under Project Bhishma. Apart from all the 22 AIIMS, it will be present in the top state level medical colleges of those states where AIIMS are not present. This 72 box mobile hospital is completely indigenous and can provide medical services to about 200 people at a time. It also has the capacity to perform surgery on about seven to 10 people in a day.
Nadda said, the government has implemented the promises made to the people during the elections. All the elderly people of 70 years or more will be given a golden card under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Next month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch it and about six crore elderly people of the country will get a chance to become the beneficiary of the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Under this scheme, health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh per year will be free which will be only for the elderly.
