Millions of Wi-Fi routers are on the target of hackers, can be hacked anytime, CERT-In warns

A warning about Wi-Fi routers has been released by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In). All brands of Wi-Fi routers have high-level vulnerabilities that hackers can take advantage of, according to CERT-In.

According to CERT-In, by taking advantage of this flaw, hackers can log in to your router and access the data. Apart from this, login ID and password can also be changed. If you are not aware, then let us tell you that a Wi-Fi router is a device that provides wireless internet in a range of about 100 meters.

CERT-In has said that this bug is in TP Link's router. This router is used the most in India. By taking advantage of this bug, hackers can access arbitrary code and can also tamper with the device connected to the router. According to CERT-In, this bug is so big that one can log in to the router even without a password.

The only way to avoid this bug is to update your Wi-Fi router. After logging in, you will see that a firmware update has come which has to be installed. Apart from this, this bug can also be avoided by changing the default login ID password. Turning off the remote management system can also be a wise decision.
