MG Windsor EV will get a large panoramic sunroof, glimpse seen in new teaser, will be launched on September 11
A new teaser of the Windsor EV has been released. The teaser shows that the MG Windsor EV will come with a single-pane fixed glass roof. This means that the sunroof cannot be opened. MG Motor has not yet revealed the technical specifications of the Windsor EV. However, it is expected to be equipped with a 50.6 kWh battery pack with fast charging compatibility and a single electric motor.
JSW MG Motor has released a new teaser of the upcoming electric vehicle Windsor EV, which is set to be launched in India over the next couple of weeks. The British-origin carmaker is all set to launch the Windsor EV in the Indian market on 11 September. However, the recent teaser video released shows that this one too will feature an extended panoramic sunroof, along with several other advanced features.
However, a teaser of the same reveals that the MG Windsor EV will come with a single-pane fixed glass roof—this means there is no provision for the opening of the sunroof. MG Motor has teased the sunroof by calling it an 'Infinity View' glass roof, which constitutes a first for its segment.
It is expected that the Windsor EV will get a touchscreen infotainment system supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, a two-spoke steering wheel, ambient lighting, and more. An additional feature will be that Windsor EV will get reclining rear seats, pushable to a 135° angle.
MG Motor is yet to reveal the tech specs of the Windsor EV. It is expected to be fitted with a 50.6 kWh rated battery, fast charge compatibility, and a single electric motor. With that, the Windsor EV could provide a long 460 km in just one single charge and be fully recharged after being 30% discharged in less than half an hour from a DC fast charger. Talking about performance, the Windsor EV churns out 134 bhp of power and 200 Nm of peak torque.
