MG Cyberster teaser: The company has released the teaser of MG Cyberster, which is going to be launched in January 2025. Its teaser shows the electric scissor door interior console. Today MG teased the upcoming Cyberster, releasing shots of an electric scissor-door inside console that opened to create a spread wing, from a bird, while at the same time, its doors would open and close in 5 seconds at the touch of a single touch button. Apart from this, they have been designed in such a manner that the inbuilt dual radar sensors on the door provide protection on the side and top while opening. It also has an anti-pinch bounce-back feature that ensures safety for people during the time of closing the door.
Talking about the interior of Cyberster, one can see it with a flat-bottom steering wheel with plenty of controls and three wrap-around digital displays. Apart from this, physical buttons can also be provided for the roof mechanism, drive selector, and HVAC control along with an extra screen in the center console.
The two-seater Cyberster also has two electric motors, each of which will power the axle and will also power all the wheels. The company is claiming that the battery found in it can give a range of up to 570 km after a full charge. The motor installed in it generates 528 bhp of power and 725 Nm of torque. The company claims this car can accelerate up to 100 kmph in 3.2 seconds. This car can feature a lithium-ion battery having a capacity of 77 kWh.
With MG Cyberster, JSW MG Motor India will mark its entry into the premium segment of cars. MG Select will be the company's signature to enter the luxury segment. The company plans to launch four new electric cars, including the MG Cyberster, in the next two years.
