Matter Aera will start delivery of its geared electric bike from the festive season, new details revealed

The company plans to launch two more variants next year. Both the 5000 and 5000+ get a 10 kW (13.4 bhp) electric motor that can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in 6 seconds.
Matter Group has announced that they will start deliveries of their Aera motorcycles during the festive season of 2024. The Matter Aera is the first electric motorcycle to come with gears that the rider can shift. The electric motorcycle has been introduced in two variants 5000 and 5000+. Their price is Rs 1.74 lakh and Rs 1.84 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom.
The company plans to launch two more variants next year. Both the 5000 and 5000+ get a 10 kW (13.4 bhp) electric motor, which can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in 6 seconds. The company promises a range of 125 km on a single charge.
A 7-inch touchscreen console with music, calls, navigation, and other features is among the features. The Aera is quite convenient to plug into any plug point because it can be charged using any 5-Amp socket. Its e-motorcycle can be operated for 25 paisas per km, according to the manufacturer.
E-bike production is about to begin at Matter Aera's plant. The company can produce 60,000 units annually, and dependent on demand, it can produce up to 120,000 units. A second manufacturing facility is something the company hopes to open by 2025.
