Italian carmaker Maserati has launched its Granturismo car in India. The company has brought this car in Modena and Trofeo versions to the country.

Maserati has given a three-liter engine in the Granturismo. But the power outputs are different in Modena and Trofeo. The Maserati GranTurismo Modena has a three-liter V6 engine. It gives it 490 horsepower and 600 Newton-meter torque. With this engine, this car takes 3.9 seconds to reach a speed of 0-100 kilometers.

Simultaneously, the Maserati GranTurismo Trofeo too has a three-liter engine but is tuned better; it gives this car 550 horsepower and torque of 650 Newton meters. With more power, due to this very reason, it takes 3.5 seconds for Trofeo to reach the speed of 0-100 kmph. The all-wheel drive is provided as standard in this version.

Maserati has provided many great features in GranTurismo. Some parts of the car are of carbon fibre which helps in reducing its weight. The tyres of the car are 20 and 21-inch, 12.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and climate control features in an 8.8-inch screen. Head-up display, Sonus Faber audio system, digital clock along with many other features have been offered.

Maserati GranTurismo has been launched in two variants. Its Modena variant has been launched, with an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.72 crore, and the ex-showroom price of its Trofeo variant has been kept at Rs 2.90 crore. In the market, it will compete with cars like BMW M8 Competition, Ferrari Roma, and Aston Martin.
