The Maserati GT2 has launched an even more hardcore version of its supercar, the MC20. By default, it is based on the track-prepped, GT2-based model MC20, with a weight difference of about 60 kg from the latter, and comes fitted with a 3.0-liter V6 turbo-petrol engine that unleashes an additional 10 plus horsepower. Let us know what else is special about it.

Under the hood lies a 3.0-liter turbo-petrol V6 that churns out 640hp of power. The marque claimed that the GT2 Stradale could do 0-100kph in just 2.8 seconds, considerably faster than the 829hp plug-in hybrid Ferrari 296 GTB.

It gets a new front diffusor and the GT2's larger rear wing, which can enhance its high-speed cornering and generate 500kg of aerodynamic downforce at 280kph. Other than this, the Stradale comes with more of the same suspension setup and steering-rack tune as the GT2. Maserati has fitted it with a braking set-up that includes ventilated discs, calipers and pads, and a slightly track-biased anti-lock system.

There's a new Corsa Evo driving mode added for the Maserati GT2 Stradale, which works as a higher four-level traction control system. However, this is only available with some option packs, detailing Michelin semi-slick tyres, electronic limited-slip differential, four-point seatbelts, etc.

The cost of the new car has not been announced by Maserati Company yet. Nevertheless, it would be rightly said that the car's price might range from $ 242,995 to $ 522,000.
