Maruti Suzuki, a leading vehicle manufacturer selling many great cars and SUVs in the Indian market, has increased the prices of the Maruti Wagon R, which has been offered in the Hatchback segment for a long time. It has become expensive to buy Maruti Wagon R offered in the hatchback segment by Maruti. The company has increased its prices. This increase has been done in February 2025 and it has also been updated on the official website.

Maruti Suzuki had given information about increasing the prices at the end of the year 2024. The company had said that it would increase the prices of the cars in its portfolio in the new year. But this increase will be different on different vehicles. After which now the prices have been increased in February.

According to the information, Maruti has increased the price of its Wagon R by up to Rs 15 thousand. Instead of increasing the prices of different variants uniformly, the company has increased them separately.

Maruti has increased VXI 1.0 AGS, ZXI 1.2 AGS, ZXI + 1.2 AGS, and ZXI + dual-tone trims by Rs 15 thousand. Prices of all other trims have increased by up to Rs 10 thousand.

Maruti has kept Wagon R's base model ex-showroom price at Rs 5.64 lakh. Other than that, VXI has cost Rs 6.09 lakh, ZXI has cost Rs 6.38 lakh, LXI CNG has cost Rs 6.54 lakh, VXI AGS has cost Rs 6.59 lakh, ZXI + has cost Rs 6.85 lakh, ZXI AGS has cost Rs 6.88 lakh, VXI CNG has cost Rs 6.99 lakh and ZXI + AGS has cost Rs 7.35 lakh ex-showroom price.

Maruti Wagon R comes in the hatchback segment. The model of the company is in rivalry in the market with other hatchback vehicles like the Maruti Celerio, S Presso, Renault Kwid, and Hyundai Grand Nios i10 as well as SUVs like Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and Tata Punch.
