Recently, Maruti Suzuki has launched the Swift Blitz Edition. During the festive season, it is another special edition car to increase its sales numbers. After introducing special edition avatars of the Grand Vitara SUV and Baleno premium hatchback, now the latest model with a limited edition is the Swift hatchback.

This is because the new Maruti Suzuki Swift Blitz Edition offers its potential customers an accessory kit worth Rs 39,500 absolutely free of cost. This accessory kit brings cosmetic updates as well as new features for this best-selling hatchback.

Maruti Suzuki provides the Swift Blitz Edition in two variants, namely VXi and VXi (O). Besides the regular equipment seen on the standard version of the hatchback, the special edition receives an additional accessory package featuring grille garnish, LED fog lamps, and underbody spoilers at the front, rear, and side profiles. Other features that are part of the special edition accessory package on the Maruti Suzuki Blitz Edition include body cladding, a window frame kit, door visors, and a black roof spoiler. The special edition hatchback also gets a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, and several other features depending on the variant.

With the accessory package, the changes are limited to cosmetics and features only. Mechanically, the special edition does not feature any sort of change and is the same as the regular version of this hatchback. The Maruti Suzuki Swift Blitz Edition is available with both petrol-only and petrol-CNG powertrain options. The 1.2-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol motor belts out 82 bhp of peak power and 112 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to either a five-speed manual gearbox or a five-speed AMT unit.
