Maruti Suzuki extends Fronx Velocity Edition to 14 trims, starting price is Rs 7.29 lakh
Maruti Suzuki Fronx Velocity Edition has many accessories as compared to the standard version. Fronx 1.2 Sigma Velocity has red and black color garnish on the front bumper, headlamp, wheel arch, and grill. You can buy it at a starting price of Rs 7.29 lakh. Apart from this, there is also a more affordable 1.2-liter CNG version which promises a fuel efficiency of 28.51 km/kg.
Maruti Suzuki has rolled out the Velocity edition of its Fronx SUV in all-new trims. This limited edition model now comes in as many as 14 variants. Earlier offered with a turbo petrol unit only, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx Velocity will also be sold with naturally aspirated petrol and CNG engine options. Prices of the Velocity Edition have been increased to Rs 7.29 lakh, ex-showroom, for a limited period.
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx Velocity Edition gets a longer accessory list than the regular one. The front bumper, headlamps, wheel arches, and grille of the Fronx 1.2 Sigma Velocity get red and black color garnish. Red color inserts in side molding, illuminated door sill guards, designer floor mats finished in red, upper rear spoiler extender, door visor, ORVM cover, and tailgate garnish have been provided on the Fronx Delta, Delta+, and Delta+ (O) Velocity.
The base Delta+ Velocity version is powered by a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that comes with all the exterior garnishes from the lower trims and adds interior accessories such as Nexcross black finish seat covers, carbon finish interior styling kit, and 3D boot mat. The Fronx Alpha and Zeta Velocity get a stand-out look with the fancy Nexcross Bordeaux finish sleeve seat covers and all accessories available on the Delta+ trim.
The Fronx gets an option of a 1.2-litre petrol motor, which comes mated to a 5-speed manual and an AMT. The carmaker also offers a more power-packed 1.0-litre Boosterjet with Smart Hybrid technology, which comes mated to a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter. The latter also gets paddle shifters. Apart from this, there is also a more economical 1.2-litre CNG version available that promises a fuel efficiency of 28.51 km/kg.
