Maruti recalls Dzire Tour S car: Customers are advised not to drive before replacement

A technical fault has been noticed in Maruti Suzuki's Dzire Tour S car. Giving information on Wednesday, the company said, 'It will recall its cars manufactured between 6 to 16 August. In total, there are 166 DZire tour cars, whose safety features have been found to be flawed.
The company wants to replace them due to a defect in the airbag control unit in these cars. That's why calling these cars back for free repair.
At the same time, the company suspects that there may be a technical fault in some airbag control units, but it will be known by checking whether it is working properly or not. Till then, the company has requested customers not to drive until their car's Airbag Control Unit is replaced.
You can find out whether your car is named in the models included in the recall by visiting the company's website www.marutisuzuki.com. After visiting the site, the car owner has to go to the 'Imp Customer Info' section. Here by entering the chassis number of your car, you can check whether their vehicle has also been included in this recall or not.
Chassis number MA3 is followed by 14 digits and it is on the ID plate of the vehicle and also on the invoice/registration documents of the car.
