The Instagram platform, which lets users share short videos, has released a number of features at once. To make it simpler to connect with friends and publish new content, Meta has introduced three new features for Notes for Instagram. Another privacy feature that the company has added prevents someone from messaging you if they are not on your list of close friends. With the children in mind, this feature was launched specifically. For its microblogging platform Threads, Meta has also introduced a new feature that allows the thread to function as TweetDeck.
Instagram launched the Notes feature in December 2022. Notes feature was introduced to share your thoughts among friends and loved ones. The notes feature is available in Instagram's direct message only. Now there will be an option of questions in Notes. Followers will be able to give quick reactions to the questions written on the notes by double-tapping. Apart from this, you will also be able to tag your followers with '@' in Notes. After tagging, the follower will also get a notification.
Instagram has also launched a safety feature which is to prevent bullying and trolling. After turning on this feature, unknown people will not be able to message anyone. Only those people will be able to message each other who are in each other's close friend list. This feature can be turned on by going to Limit Interactions in Settings and Activity.
