Manipal University Jaipur's Media School Clinches National Media Conclave Award for Excellence in Research and Publications

Manipal University Jaipur's School of Media and Communications has clinched the prestigious 7th National Media Conclave Award-2023 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The school proudly received the "Award of Excellence" in the distinguished category of "Best Media Institute for Excellence in Research and Publications."
The honor was handed over to Prof. (Dr.) Fakira Mohan Nahak, Head of the School of Media and Communication, Faculty of Arts, by the esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, the Higher Education Minister of Odisha, and the Guest of Eminence, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Amat, the Minister of Information and Public Relations, Government of Odisha. This national-level recognition has been a tradition for the past seven years, acknowledging outstanding achievements in media education, corporate contributions, and media professionalism.
Dignitaries such as Prof. (Dr.) B. K. Ravi, Vice Chancellor, Koppal University, Karnataka, Dr. Pradeep Mallik, Professor, Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar, and Mr. Snehasis Sur, President of the Press Club of Kolkata, graced the award ceremony, adding to the significance of the occasion. Prof. Upendra Padhi, the conclave chairperson, took a moment to appreciate all the participants and awardees.

This prestigious award was presented during the annual three-day National Media Conclave (NMC), held from 21-23 November in Bhubaneswar. Organized by the Institute of Media Studies at Utkal University and KIIT University, the NMC attracts media and communication scholars, veterans, researchers, and thinkers from across the country and parts of Southeast Asia. It serves as a platform for sharing ideas and recognizing excellence in the field of media and communication.
