Man dies while in custody at Jhunjhunu police station, police had arrested him on charges of theft

A man was arrested by the police in Rajasthan. He was charged with theft. The man is named Pappu Meena. Pappu, who was imprisoned in the police station, unexpectedly passed away. This occurrence has caused an uproar in the entire locality. Police are attempting to identify the cause of Pappu's death.

This case is of Khetri police station in Jhunjhunu district. Gopal Lal, who works at Khetri police station, reported that Pappu Meena was 28 years of age. It was a complaint against him of theft, which was brought on Sunday. Thus, Pappu was arrested by the police.

The police say that Pappu was being questioned after being brought to the police station when suddenly his health deteriorated. Pappu started vomiting and soon he fainted. Pappu was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Talking about this matter, a senior police officer said that Pappu's body had been sent for post-mortem. This is a case of custodial death. It is being investigated seriously.
