I used to be afraid that something might happen. Everyone used to make fun of me for this. I used to tell myself that I cannot kiss her at any cost.
Mahira further said, 'Shah Rukh himself also used to tease me. He often used to tell me that the next scene is going to happen. It is obvious that Shahrukh used to talk about the same scene. While giving an interview in Pakistan some time ago, Mahira said that during the shooting of Raees, there was a 'nose' war between her and Shahrukh.
In that interview, the anchor asked Mahira what is common between her and Shahrukh apart from nose. In response, Mahira said that working with Shahrukh is the most amazing moment of her life. Mahira said, 'Shahrukh is my childhood hero, working with him was like a dream for me.'
Mahira had to face criticism a few days back for praising Shah Rukh Khan in Pakistan. In fact, he praised Shahrukh's film Pathan in many ways. Annoyed by his talk, Pakistan's MP Dr. Afnan Ullah Khan termed him a sycophant. He made a scathing comment on Mahira saying that she flatters Indian actors for money.
