Chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Mohan Bhagwat, called the January 22 consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya a brave deed on Monday. He went on to say that only God's will and blessings have made this work possible. In his speech at the Geeta Bhakti Amrit Mahotsav in Alandi, Pune district, Maharashtra, Bhagwat stated that India must fulfil its responsibilities. If this cannot be accomplished with any vehicle, the world may soon have to face annihilation.

Mohan Bhagwat said that Ramlala arrived on 22 January. This was a courageous act after a long struggle. He said it is a good fortune for today's generation that they got a chance to see Ramlala at their place. It has been successful only because of God's blessings and will. Bhagwat said that he also got the opportunity to participate in the consecration of Ramlala.

The RSS chief said that India will have to rise because the whole world needs India. He said, that if for some reason India does not rise, the entire earth will have to face destruction.
