Indian vehicle manufacturer Mahindra has launched the Mahindra XUV3XO in South Africa. The cabin theme of this vehicle launched there is different from here. Prices of XUV 3XO launched in South Africa are between R2,54,999 to R4,04,999-which roughly translates to Rs 12.16 lakh and Rs 19.31 lakh. If you see, it has been launched there at a price of more than Rs 4.5 lakh compared to India and there is a difference of Rs 3.5 lakh in the price of the fully loaded variant.
The XUV3OO that has been launched in South Africa is largely similar to the model that was launched in India. So, at the front, there are auto-LED projector headlamps, and C-shaped LED DRLs in addition to a camera in the front bumper and a silver skid plate.
While coming to its interior, it is also similar to the Indian version, except its cabin theme is different from here. While the model launched there was an all-Black cabin with Black leatherette seats, at the same time, this XUV 3XO available here comes with a dual-tone Black and White interior with White leatherette seats.
The other features on the list include a dual 10.25-inch display, a 7-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, dual-zone AC with rear vents and a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, and ventilated front seats. As for the safety features of the occupants, a total of six airbags, a 360-degree camera with blind view monitor, hill hold and descent control along with ESC (Electronic Stability Control), traction control, and rollover mitigation have been provided. Not only that, but this car also comprises some inbuilt features such as 3-point seatbelts, all-wheel disc brakes, ADAS-like adaptive cruise control, autonomous braking, and lane keep assist.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO will be available in South Africa with a sole 1.2L, turbo-petrol unit. This turbo-petrol unit puts out 111 PS and 200 Nm. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox. This engine variant has been available in India, too.
