Live cartridges caught at Jaipur airport: X-ray screening found in passenger's bag, flight was to go to Goa
CISF jawan caught 5 live cartridges in search at Jaipur airport. Live cartridges were found on an X-ray screening of a passenger's bag. The passenger who reached the airport carrying cartridges had come to catch a flight from Jaipur to Goa. Along with registering a case at the airport police station, the cartridges and the passenger were handed over to the police.
Police said that live cartridges were found with Noida resident Kaushalendra Singh (35). On June 2, he reached Jaipur airport to catch a flight from Jaipur to Goa. SI Sandeep Yadav, posted at the security check of the bags at the airport, searched the X-ray screening.
During the search of the bag, 5 live cartridges were found. Passenger Kaushalendra Singh was questioned about the cartridges found in the bag. During interrogation, he denied not having an arms license and having information about cartridges. CISF SI Sandeep Yadav got the report lodged at the airport police station. Passenger Kaushalendra Singh and the cartridges recovered from him were also handed over to the police.
