Last week, the market capitalization of eight of the top 10 companies rose to Rs 2.03 lakh crore amid a positive trend in equity markets. Among these companies, the highest profit was made by Reliance Industries. The BSE Sensex gained 1,387.18 points (2.39%) last week.
During this period, the market capitalization of 8 out of the top 10 companies has increased except HDFC and Bajaj Finance. The market capitalization (mcap) of index heavyweight Reliance Industries increased by Rs 68.29 thousand crores to Rs 16.72 lakh crore. State Bank of India (SBI) added 30.120 thousand crore rupees to its mcap. Due to this its total market capitalization became 5 lakh crore rupees.
The mcap of ICICI Bank has increased by 25.94 thousand crores to Rs 6.32 lakh crores and the market capitalization of Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has increased by 18.60 thousand crores to Rs 6.23 lakh crores. Bharti Airtel's mcap valuation has increased by 17.38 thousand crores to Rs 4.43 lakh crore.
The mcap of ITC increased by 16.73 thousand crores to Rs 4.28 lakh crores and that of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) by 15.27 thousand crores to Rs 11.48 lakh crores. The mcap of Infosys has increased by 10.96 thousand crores to Rs 6.31 lakh crore.
However, Bajaj Finance's mcap has come down by 4.87 thousand crores to Rs 4.35 lakh crores and HDFC Bank's 1.50 thousand crores have come down to Rs 8.01 lakh crores.
Reliance Industries continues to top the list of the most valuable companies. After this, TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Infosys, HUL, SBI, Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Finance and ITC are included in the top-10 list of companies.

The Sensex closed at 59,307 with a gain of 104 points. Nifty had risen 12 points to reach the level of 17,576.
