Lamborghini India has announced that the first unit of the Huracan Sterrato has arrived in India. The supercar is finished in Grigio Lynx shade with Morus 19-inch forged black rims and yellow CCB calipers. Lamborghini says that this supercar will be delivered to the customer soon.
Only 1,499 units of the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato will be made. Of these, only 15 units have been allocated to India and they have already been sold at an ex-showroom price of Rs 4.61 crore.
Compared to the standard Huracan Evo, the ground clearance of the Sterrato has been increased by 44 mm to 171 mm, which means it will be better able to handle speedbreakers on Indian roads. Its wheel size is smaller and the tires have more sidewalls, which along with making the ride comfortable, also reduces the chances of tire bursts.
Talking about tyres, it now gets all-terrain tires and Lamborghini has increased the front and rear track by 30 mm and 34 mm respectively. There are also skid plates and underbody protection on the front, rear, and sides.
Powering the Huracan Sterrato is a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10, which produces 600 bhp of maximum power and a peak torque output of 560 Nm. Compared to the Huracan EVO AWD, the Sterrato is 29 bhp and 40 Nm lower.
This is because the air intakes have been moved from the sides to a roof-mounted unit, which can keep dust away. The top speed of Huracan Sterrato is 260 kmph and it can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 3.4 seconds.
The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato also gets an updated Vehicle Dynamic Pack or Lamborghini Integrated Vehicle Dynamics (LDVI). Its Strada and Sports modes have been updated, while the Corsa mode has been replaced by a new Rally mode.
Inside the cockpit, it gets new Alcantara Verde upholstery with new graphics on the touchscreen infotainment system. Other features include a digital inclinometer with pitch and roll indicator, compass, geographic coordinate indicator, and steering angle indicator.
