The Chitrakoot police station has registered a case of theft of money and jewellery worth lakhs of rupees kept in the wardrobe of the house in the area. A case has been registered on the complaint given by the victim, Kusum Lata, a resident of Shalimar Bagh. Kusum Lata told that two maids work at her house. A maidservant named Shanti comes to sweep the house in the morning and Sona comes in the evening. She helps in chopping vegetables by making tea. For the past few days, Priya, who is crying for peace, has been coming to her grandmother's place to sweep. Kusum told that on the morning of April 29, when she used the key to open the cupboard, it did not work. When he checked the cupboard, its lock was broken. 46 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard and two gold chains, a gold necklace, a diamond-studded gold ear pair, a pendant, an American diamond gold ring and a diamond ring were stolen. On the theft of jewellery and cash, Kusum asked both the maids, but they did not give any answer. On this, the victim lodged a report giving information about the incident to the Chitrakoot police station.
Chitrakoot police station said that on the report of the woman, a case has been registered and an investigation has been started. Based on the report given by the victim Kusum Lata, both the working women are being interrogated. At the same time, CCTV footage installed in and around the victim's house is also being scanned. Based on the complaint of the victim, some other people are also being questioned. Till now the police have not reached any conclusion.
